英语口语之占领

        The Occupy movement had protestors rebuffing the "elite" and chanting “We are the 99%” worldwide in 2011. "Occupy" became so popular (it's GLM's "Word of the Year"), that the "99%" who weren't living in tents (most of us) starting using it to express dissatisfaction with everyday affairs. ie. "Occupy this sandwich."

　　在占运动中，抗议者抵制1%的少数大财团和富有者，并打出“我们是99%”的口号。“占”一词被“全球语言监测机构”评为“年度热词”。99%的美国民众开始用这一词汇表达他们对日常事务的不满。例如“占这块三明治”。
