  大作文:Employers should give staff at least four weeks holidays a year to make employees better at their jobs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

  The spending on housing occupied a quarter of family expenditure in 1957, while this figure rose by 5 percentage points in the following fifty years.

  3. 保持不变

  The proportion of expenditure on tobacco remained unchanged at 6% across the recorded years.

  4. 相同趋势

  A similar trend was found in…from …to… over this period.

  5. With独立主格结构

  Housing remained the biggest item, with its proportion rising from 25% to 30% over this period.

  Task 2 工作休闲类话题

  题目翻译:雇主应该至少给员工一年4周假期让他们在工作岗位上表现更好。你是否同意?

  从结构上来说,可以通过五段完成写作任务:

  开头段:改写题目+表达个人观点

  支持段:放假的好处1:身心放松,更加健康,更加能胜任工作;

  支持段:放假的好处2:花时间陪伴家人,家人更好的支持工作,雇主和员工的关系会更好。

  让步段:然而,对于部分职业或者兼职的员工而言“4周”的限定不一定合适。需要根据职业特征决定。

  结尾段:总结

  Main argumentations supporting this statement :

  1. 雇主和公司应该意识到给员工放假能够让他们在长期内更高效。

  Employers and businesses should realize that taking a break may actually be more productive in the long run.

  2. 长期疲劳会使雇主和员工的之间的关系紧张并且会降低工作效率。

  Long-term fatigue will make relationships between employers and staff problematic and result in low productivity.

  3. 工作环境很难创造新的想法,途径和解决问题的办法,但是环境的改变能够让过去常承受很大压力的员工放松和富有创造力。The work environment is hardly the place to generate new ideas, approaches and problem-solving techniques, but a change of scene can make employees who used to be under enormous pressure become relaxed and creative.

  Main argumentation against this statement:

  1. 如果一个员工工作时间是间歇性的,或者不规律的,那么让雇主给与其一年四周假期是不实际的。 If employees work intermittently or irregularly, it is impracticable for the employers to provide them with four weeks’ annual holidays。

  2. 允许员工休至少4周的假期可能会给雇主带来额外的财务负担,尤其那些创业初期的公司。Allowing staff to take paid annual leave for least four weeks may place extra financial burden on companies, especially those start-ups.

  考试预测:

  1.小作文:重点关注静态图和流程图。
