　　小作文: bar chart

　　大作文: Nowadays some older people choose to live in retirement communities with other people, rather than living with their adult children. Is it a positive or negative development?

　　1. 本次考试比较简单。

　　2. 整体分析:

　　Task 1柱图，动态数据图，是今年6月份的题目重考，比较简单。the number of four kinds of students in the UK in 1990, 1998 and 2005，动态图以趋势描写，对象之间的比较为主。

　　注意点：1.注意多样化表达趋势状态和比较;2.四个对象之间的数据差异不是很大，注意比较方法的多样性(类比和对比);3.对象表达有可能会比较单一，注意同替;

　　相关表达：

　　1. The percentage of A in … is higher than …

　　2. A is ...times as much/many as B. A是B的...倍

　　3. The proportion of A increased/decreased by/to + 数据.

　　4. There was a(n) increase/decrease in the percentage of A + 数据.

　　5. 时间段 + witnessed/saw a(n) increase/decrease in the proportion of A + 数据.

　　3. Task2：社会生活类话题，

　　题目翻译：现在很多的老年人选择去养老社区与其他老年人一起居住，而不是和他们的孩子住在一起。这是一个积极的还是消极的发展?

　　这个题目是一个常规的opinion类题型的问题，侧重分析话题老年人去养老院居住的利弊即可。

　　主体段的结构安排可以双边讨论，但是倾向明显：

　　Body 1 给出让步段，承认住在养老院的弊端，但是给出反驳，引出下文立论段。

　　Body 2 立论，给出我方理由，细节论证居住在养老社区的优势。

　　Body1:

　　Ts: 住在养老院的确会有一些不可避免的缺陷(inevitable disadvantages)。

　　Ss: 父母住在养老院，和孩子不经常见面，有可能会使得他们和孩子缺乏沟通交流(lack communication with each other)，关系日渐疏远(become alienated)。但是，现代社会年轻人工作繁忙(young people are occupied in their work)，即使和父母住在一起，关系也并没有很亲密，反而会忽略老年人的情感需求(neglect parents’ emotional needs)。

　　Body2:

　　Ts: 相比较而言，我还是认为住在养老社区的好处会更加明显。

　　Ss: Firstly，住在养老院可以得到更好的照顾(are taken great care all the time)。因为养老社区配备有专业的护理人员(professional caregivers), 和完善的设施(well-established facilities)。假设老年人突然生病(if any disease strikes them)，可以及时被送往医院就医(could be sent to hospital immediately)。Secondly，住在养老院更易让老年人获得同龄人的陪伴(companionship)，不会感到孤独。老年人居住在一起，可以互相关心，交流和陪伴(care for each other and have more opportunities to talk with their peers)，参加一些集体活动(get involved in a variety of activities, such as playing chess, doing morning exercise together)。
