　　小作文：pie chart

　　大作文：The key solution for the environment is for the current generation to live a less comfortable life to benefit future generations.

　　1.本次考试难度较高。

　　2.整体分析：

　　Task 1：动态饼图，2个饼1980年和2008年，某engineering company两年毕业生的组成，art和science本科到博士6个分组。

　　图表信息量不大，考生应当注意，饼图应该关注部分在整体中的占比信息，各部分的大小对比，再去比较两个年份的变化。

　　参考句型：

　　1. the majority of employees had a … degree

　　2. the proportion of masters in science topped list, followed by…

　　3. only…% of employees had a Ph.D degree while the figure rose considerably to…

　　Task 2环保类话题

　　题目翻译：解决环境问题最重要的一个手段是：当代人过一个不那么舒服的生活方式，为后代节约资源，同意与否?

　　分析点评：今天的雅思大作文，原题重现2018年4月海外考区的作文题，环境类话题，题目难度稍大。近期雅思考试考频很高，一直都是原题重考，已经不局限于大陆考区的题目了，这两次重复的都是2018年海外考场的题目。今天的作文题，话题逻辑对考来说还是比较难的。

　　建议可以采取4段式的写法：

　　第1段：话题背景+个人观点(不完全赞同题干观点)

　　第2段：(让步题干观点)环保会减少物质享受

　　第3段：(反驳，不完全赞同题干观点)环保不一定降低生活质量

　　第4段：总结段，总结个人观点

　　主体段1： 低碳生活就是在减少物质享受，例如出行方式，公交地铁确实没有私家车舒适。A simple way of life must reduce the consumption of energy and resources and consequently decrease the exhaust and emission. People today can opt to reduce their carbon footprint and reduce environmental pollution by not using cars to travel, and relying instead on public transport such as trains and buses. 弱化让步论点： In fact, this change in lifestyle may be beneficial as people would incur less costs from not having to maintain their individual cars, save time from traffic jams.

　　主体段2：科技的帮助下，保护环境并不一定会牺牲现有的生活质量 Progress in technology and products available also make it easy for the present generation to save the environment at no significant cost to them.新材料的研发，能保护环境，但是几乎不影响人们当前的生活，例如可降解塑料。new biodegradable plastics have recently been invented to replace old plastics that pollute the environment and have been adopted by manufacturers of single use plastic bags at no additional cost. The end product of these new materials functions in exactly the same fashion as the older items.

　　考试预测

　　1.小作文：重点关注静态图(柱图，表格)，并且要复习流程图。

　　2.大作文：重点关注科技、媒体、社会类话题。

　　3.重点浏览2016-2018年写作机经，近期尤其需要关注2018年的考题，雅思写作还会大量重复原题，可借助《高分范文书》第8版经典旧题来复习。
