(一) 同义重复题。 在同义重复的题型中，根据其标志词的不同，可以再分为六大类：因果关系，解释关系，目的、手段及结果，指代关系，并列和递进关系，及一些特殊表意动词。 以因果关系题型为例，其典型标志词包括because， result from， since， for， for the reason that， due to，therefore， thus等。在做这一类题型时，可以根据“因为爱，所以爱”这样的原则较快的完成“前因后果”或者“前果后因”的句子。 例如，旧版OG上第二套题section2的第2题，Because the pandas had already been weakened by disease and drought ， a harsh winter would have had ___ consequences for them. (A) preventive (B) regressive (C) catastrophic (D) unforeseen (E) moderate 因为熊猫已经因为疾病和干旱而变得虚弱，所以严酷的寒冬将会对他们产生一个怎样的后果。在这个问题中，疾病和干旱和寒冬都是让熊猫变的虚弱的原因，那么相应重复那个同义的原因就可以选择出正确答案C选项(灾难性的)。当然，这道题也可能是别的选项，例如D(不可预见的)，但是SAT的填空部分是一个logic-based的考试，题目的逻辑限定了正解，所以要遵循句子所表达的客观事实。 再以目的、手段和结果题型来阐述一下同义重复的逻辑关系。其标志词in order to，by， through等等，是以一种行为预期效果的目的来产生一种现实的影响的结果。 例如，旧版OG第3套题中section9第6题：By portraying a wide spectrum of characters in his one-men show， John Leguizamo provides a_____ to the theater’s tendency to offer a limited range of roles to Latino actors. (A) corrective (B) tribute (C) corollary (D) stimulus (E) precursor 通过描述一个广泛的人物性格，J.L.可以提供一个怎样的结果?根据前文提到的方法，我们可以推断要选一个广泛的人物性格;但是后半句中又提到提供了一个limited range of roles，说明要选择一个会产生矛盾含义的单词。那么分析选项，只有A(纠正)体现出某一种事物的相反关系。此题也在逻辑上有一个精确的限定。 (二) 反义重复题。 在反义重复的题型中，根据标志词可分为转折关系、对比关系、时间先后顺序关系。 以对比关系题型为例，其标志词有far from， rather…than， paradoxically， irony， surprisingly， change， turn into…等。 例如旧版OG套题中section5的第1题：Soon after the first visitors arrived， increasing numbers of the residents of the remote island thought it possible that the outside world， instead of being _____， could be ____and worth exploring. (A) insular….unlimited (B) friendly…wicked (C) amiable…cooperative (D) threatening…fascinating (E) forbidding…harmful 此题出现了instead of 这样一个标志词，再根据前后两空我们可以直接判断为反义，但后面又有一个and worth exploring，可以推测could be 之后是和worth exploring同义重复。此题较为典型和简单，只有A，D构成反义，而fascinating可以和worth exploring构成一个正面同义重复，unlimited属于中性词，那么可以确定为D选项。 再例如旧版OG中套题section8第4题：Cito Gaston， one of the least ____baseball managers， surprised reporters by weeping openly after his team won the play-offs. (A) somber (B) demonstrative (C) insufferable (D) bountiful (E) wistful 其中least表达一个“ 不”的意思，而此题解题点在于surprise，因为surprise表达了一个出乎意料的意思，说明C.G.这个人的行为是不常见的，他表现出的行为是公开哭，那么与之相反的行为，及不公开哭，那么只有B选项可以表达出感情外露的意思，和least一起构成与weeping openly的反义重复。 (责任编辑：admin) |
